Hakone
みなさん、こんにちは。 今回のブログを担当させていただきますオークウッドプレミア東京ミッドタウン、ラウンジアテンダントの長谷川健太です。今回は都心から近く、自然が美しい観光地、また私もよく訪れる箱根をご紹介したいと思います。
皆さんは箱根に足を運ばれたことはありますか？
箱根は神奈川県の西に位置し、東京から車で２時間ほどの場所にあります。また電車での交通も発展しており、東京からの日帰りでも時間に余裕を持って訪れられる観光地です。 箱根にはたくさんのお勧めスポット、アクティビティがありますが今回ご紹介するのは２ヶ所。
芦ノ湖
神奈川県内最大の湖で芦ノ湖遊覧船にも乗船できます。湖畔にはリゾート施設、観光名所が数多く点在します。
箱根湯本温泉
箱根には数多くの温泉街が有りますが歴史深く、神経痛、関節痛等に良いとされている有名な箱根湯本をお勧めします。
また箱根は富士山から近いということもあり、天気の良い日には写真のような美しい富士山と芦ノ湖を望むこともできます。
六月の梅雨に入る前に素晴らしい景色と温泉で日々の疲れを癒してみてはいかがでしょうか？

Greetings from Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown! My name is Kenta Hasegawa and it is my turn to write up a blog. This time, let me introduce to you about a beautiful tourist resort called “Hakone” where I often choose to go.
Have you ever been to Hakone before? Hakone is located west side of Kanagawa prefecture and roughly takes 2hours from Tokyo by car. Also a train network between Hakone and Tokyo is well developed, so you are able to have “One Day Trip” without a rush in time.
There are so many tourist attractions in Hakone, but let me introduce two famous places to visit in the area.
Lake Ashinoko
This is a scenic and the largest lake in Kanagawa prefecture. A number of pleasure boats and ferries traverse the lake. There are a lot of inns and tourist attractions by the lake too.
Hakone Yumoto
There are so many hot spring areas in Hakone town. Where I recommend is a really famous and historical hot spring area called “Hakone Yumoto”. The hot spring in the area cures nerve and joint pains.
Furthermore, when the day is nice and sunny, you can see Mt. Fuji with Lake Ashinoko like the picture shows.
Why not plan to visit Hakone to have a rejuvenating time before the rainy season comes in June?

Golden Week
皆様、こんにちは。営業担当の小松です。
ゴールデンウィークはどのように過ごされましたか？春にしても、夏にしても暖かくなるとなぜかお出掛けしたくなりますよね。でも、楽しいお出掛けには必ずと言っていいほど、渋滞や混雑がつきものです。
去年のゴールデンウィークは自宅から通常だと片道約2時間半の後楽地に行き、行きはさほど渋滞もなく到着できたのに対し、帰りは約6時間近くかかったという苦い思い出があるので、今年は遠出はせず、自宅近郊で楽しく過ごせる場所を探そうと思っていました。
そこで、手始めに自宅近郊のショッピングモールに行ってみたのですが、駐車場に入るまでにまず渋滞。やっと入れたモールの中は大混雑で、特にお昼時のフードコートやレストランはどのお店も大行列。そこにキッズ向けのショーが行われ、子供達の無限大のエネルギーには圧倒されました。その日、自宅を出たのは午前10時でしたが、帰宅は午後7時と時間的には早かったものの、去年の6時間渋滞の果てに帰宅出来たのと同じ位、疲労困憊でした。
こんなに疲れてしまうのなら、お出掛けすることをやめれば良いのでは！？と思ってしまうのですが、疲れても出掛けてしまう・・それがお休みなんですよね！これからますます行楽日和が続く季節となります。皆様、楽しい休日をお過ごし下さい！！！

Hello Everyone! My name is Noriko Komatsu in the Sales Department.
How was your Golden Week? Hope you had a great one! Be it spring or summer, isn’t there something in the warm weather that makes people want to go out? Yet, a fun outing most likely involves a traffic jam and congestion.
Last year, in Golden Week, I have visited a leisure spot that usually takes me approximately 2.5 hours one way. Since I had an easy drive to the destination, I thought it would be somewhat the same for my drive back home, but I ended up approximately 6 hours on the freeway. Therefore, this year, from the bitter experience that I had from last year, I have decided not to go to the outskirts, but instead, I was planning to search for a nearby location that I am able to enjoy.
Thus, to start, I have visited a nearby shopping mall over this past weekend and was stuck in a traffic jam just to get in to the parking lot. As I was finally able to get in to the mall, the entire mall was filled with people where finding an empty seat in the food court or restaurant was merely impossible during the normal lunch hour. On top of all that, the character event that took place for the children overwhelmed me in that I could not imagine such vigorous energy coming out from such a small body. I have left my house around 10am and got home around 7pm, but the energy that I have spent at the mall equates to my 6 hour traffic jam experienced last year.
People may tell me it’s best not to go out during the holiday week to avoid the physical burden, but no matter how tired you get, holidays are meant to go out! Please enjoy your holidays!!!
