オークウッドレジデンス赤坂は2000年に栄えある日本の第一号オークウッドとして誕生しました。
オークウッド赤坂は東京の中心、溜池山王駅よりすぐのところに建っていますが、エントランスへ向かう坂を上って来るとまるで別世界のようです。スロープに沿った花壇には一年中季節の花々が咲き私たちを楽しませてくれます。

Hello everyone! I’m Misa Arai, Front Office Supervisor at Oakwood Residence Akasaka.
Oakwood Residence Akasaka, the honored first property in Japan was opened in 2000.
The property is located in central Tokyo, close by Tameike-sanno station. It seems world apart when we walk upslope to the entrance of the building. We enjoy flowers of the season beside the slope all year round.
I really like the calm and peaceful atmosphere that our property creates. We are trying to make our guests here feel comfortable in mind and body. Please drop by at Oakwood Residence Akasaka anytime if you are tired of hectic pace of in urban life!

レジデンツラウンジ
今回はオークウッドプレミア東京ミッドタウンのラウンジについてご案内したいと思います。
1階ロビーフロアーにはお客様にごゆっくりおくつろぎ頂けるレジデンツラウンジがございます。こちらのスペースではさまざまな利用方法でお客様にご利用頂いております。ご来館いただいたお客様との歓談、お仕事の打ち合わせ、時にはお子様のお勉強のスペースにとお客様のニーズに対応してご利用いただけます。
またラウンジでは毎朝朝食サービスを提供しております。現在は主にコンチネンタルブレックファーストをお出ししておりますが、今後週末は特別メニューなども考えていきたいと考えております。
また、毎週木曜日にはワインナイトや毎月一度レジデンツパーティーを開催しており、最近ではそれぞれのパーティーの際に手作りのお料理などをお出して、お客様にアットホームな雰囲気でお楽しみ頂けますよう心掛けております。
先月にはビールサーバーを設置し生ビールのサービスも行っております。
是非一度ご宿泊頂きオークウッドスタッフと楽しいひと時を味わってみてはいかがでしょうか。

Hello this is Toshifumi again!
Today I’d like to introduce our Residents’ Lounge in Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown.
The Residents’ Lounge where the customers can relax and be comfortable is on the lobby floor. This is a space where our customer’s can make use of according to their needs such as: having a pleasant chat with their friends, for business meetings, and at times, for their children to study!
We also serve continental breakfast every morning at our lounge. Although it’s “continental,” we are currently planning to serve some special dishes on Sundays.
We have Wine Night every Thursday and also we have a Residents’ Party once every month. Our staffs make the foods for the Wine Night and Resident’s Party which hopefully makes our customer feel more like home. Recently, we purchased a draft beer server so you can enjoy a tapped beer at our own lounge!
Please come and stay at Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown to join the party and taste the tapped beer yourself with our Oakwood staffs!

ヨガレッスン
はじめまして、私オークウッドプレミア東京ミッドタウンのフロントオフィススーパーバイザーの清水聡史と申します。
私は2007年3月30日のオープンニングスタッフとして入社致しました。以前は横浜のホテルで10年勤務し、その経験をサービスアパートメントとという新たな分野でホテルサービスとは少々異なり、アットホームでご自宅にいるような快適さを感じられる心暖まるサービスを目指しスタッフ一同日々努力しております。
オークウッドプレミア東京ミッドタウンでは館内の施設を利用し、さまざまな企画を開催しております。
先日フィットネスジムでトレーナーをお呼びしてヨガレッスンを行いました。ご滞在中のお客様、他の物件にお住まいのお客様やオークウッドスタッフも参加し、皆様熱心にレッスンを受けており今後も継続してレッスンを開催して行きたいと考えております。
これからもお客様に快適な空間、サービスをご提供できますよういろいろな事にチャレンジして行きたいと考えておりますので今後ともどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

My greetings to everyone! My name is Toshifumi Shimizu and I work as a Front Office Supervisor at Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown. I joined Oakwood on March 30th 2007 as an opening staff so I am still new to Oakwood. Since I had worked at a hotel in Yokohama for ten years, I feel that a service apartment like Oakwood is very different. However, I try my best everyday to make use of my hotel experiences and make our guests’ stay as close to home as possible.
At Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown, we coordinate many events using our facilities. Last week, we had our first Yoga class at our Fitness Centre with an actual yoga teacher. Guests’ staying in Oakwood Premier Tokyo Midtown, guests staying at other Oakwoods, and even some of our staffs attended! We are planning to carry on conducting this Yoga class so feel free to join!

カラオケパーティー
カラオケパーティー
こんにちは。今回が私の書く最後のブログとなります。
今回はパーティーのご案内です！
オークウッドレジデンス青山・白金では2ヶ月に1度ご滞在頂いているお客様の参加を対象にしたレジデンスパーティーを行っております。
前回はマネージャー大越がブログにて紹介しておりましたとおりお客様・スタッフ皆で納涼船に乗りました。今月は19日に金曜日に渋谷にてカラオケパーティーを計画しております。カラオケという文化のない国からのお客様には少し抵抗があるかもしれませんが、この機会を通じて日本のカラオケ文化に触れて頂き、また一週間の疲れ・ストレスをパーティーの場で発散して下さればと思っております。
2008年今後のパーティーは10月にハロウィンパーティー、12月にクリスマスパーティーを計画しておりますので、ご滞在予定のある方は是非参加してみて下さい！お待ちしております。
Hello again! This is my last one!
I would like to make an announcement about our residence party this time!
Oakwood Residence Aoyama and Oakwood Apartments Shirokane hold the residence party once in two months. Our last party was in July and we have been on the cruise as our manager Tamaki has written in her blog. The party in September is this coming Friday, 19th and we are going to have a Karaoke party in Shibuya!
It might be very different culture from other countries though, we hope them to get an experience of Japanese Karaoke culture! Also, we hope them to let the stress out by singing and drinking!
Our future activities are a Halloween Party in October and a Christmas Party in December. If you plan to stay with us, please join us.

健康は最高の財産
2回目のブログになります。
突然ですが、皆さんは何かスポーツをされていますか？
オークウッドレジデンス青山にはオンサイトのジムというものはありませんが、
フロントにて近隣にあるジムのビジターチケットを格安のお値段でご滞在のお客様にお売りしております。ひとつはウェイトマシーンの揃っているゴールドジム、もうひとつはプール、スカッシュコートなどの利用も可能なリビエラスポーツクラブの2種類です。
お客様の中には、ご滞在中毎日ジムに通われる方や忙しい毎日を送られていらっしゃる方でも、週末に時間を作って必ずジムに通うなどして健康に気を使われているお客様をよくお見かけします。健康は最高の財産ですものね。
私自身、体を動かすことは大好きなので、夏になると友達を集めて登山をしたり、まだまだ未熟ではありますがサーフィンなどで体を動かし健康には気をつかっているつもりなのですが、寒がりなため冬は特にスポーツから遠ざかってしまい、時間がないことを言い訳に運動不足がちになってしまっています。そんな寒がりの私にぴったりなインドアスポーツに先日出会いました。ロッククライミングです。今までずっとやってみたいと思っていながらなかなか機会が無かったのですが、先日、オークウッドレジデンス青山のスタッフと行ってきました！他の経験のあるスタッフに色々を教えてもらいながらの壁登り、とっても楽しかったです！思ったよりも汗をかくスポーツで普段使わない筋肉を必要とするので辛いですが、とっても良い運動になります。まだ経験したことのない方は是非試してみてください！
天気も不安定で体調を崩しやすいので皆様も健康には気をつけてくださいね。
Hi, this is Mina again.
Our property, Oakwood Residence Aoyama doesn’t have an onsite gym facility; however we do sell the gym tickets for the neighbourhood sports gyms with a reasonable price. One of them is called Gold Gym which has a variety of weight machines and another is called Riviera Sports Club where you can use the pool and the squash tennis as well as the weight machines.
I see a lot of the guests who work out everyday or some guests who has no spare time during the week even tries to go to the gym every weekend and they look very healthy and energetic. The first wealth is health.
I myself am out of shape on the grounds that I’m too busy even though I like to work out. I try to work out a lot by climbing and surfing etc…during the summer, but I don’t get much excise during the winter since I don’t like winter. However, recently I have been rock-climbing with my colleagues from Oakwood Residence Aoyama and I found this is the one for me to work out during the winter! I always wanted to try the rock-climbing, but never had a chance to do this though, I really enjoyed and we have decided to do that again. It requires you to excise your body part which you don’t usually use and it is really hard, but please go and try once if you have never tried before!
Please take good care of yourself since it’s been unstable climate everyday.

元気と笑顔の源
はじめまして。オークウッドレジデンス青山・オークウッドアパートメンツ白金のフロントオフィススーパーバイザー、杉山 美奈子です。私がオークウッドのに入社したのは２００４年の７月で、今年で入社５年目になります。
フロント業務というとホテルのフロントデスクのように、チェックイン・チェックアウトを主に担当し、華やかなイメージがあるかもしれませんが、私たちオークウッドのフロントデスクスタッフはお客様のチェックイン・チェックアウトはもちろん、コンシェルジュサービス、ベルサービス、デリバリーサービス、時にはお部屋の電球交換、ベッドメイクといった様な体力を要する仕事もたくさんあり、忙しい時は疲れきってしまう日もあります。しかし、そんな忙しい日でも、私たちフロントスタッフに元気と笑顔を取り戻してくれるのが滞在している子供たちです。オークウッドレジデンス青山には常時たくさんのご家族が滞在しており、小さなお子様もたくさんいます。一日一回は必ず私たちに会いにわざわざお部屋からフロントまで来て下さる子、チェックアウトの際にオークウッドを離れたくないと泣いてしまう子、０歳の赤ちゃんからティーネイジャーまで年齢は様々ですが皆さんとってもかわいいお子様達ばかりです。
そんなお子様連れのご家族の為に、オークウッドレジデンス青山のプレイエリアが先日リニューアルされました！以前はお砂場のみでしたが、お子様用滑り台とピクニックテーブルが加わり、お砂場も丸太の形に変わり、外の公園まで足を運ぶ必要なくお子様を遊ばせることができると大好評です。
お子様連れのご家族でも安心してご滞在頂けるオークウッドレジデンス青山に是非一度いらしてみてはいかがでしょうか？皆さまのお越しをスタッフ一同心よりお待ち申し上げております。

My name is Minako Sugiyama. I am the front office supervisor for Oakwood Residence Aoyama and Oakwood Apartments Shirokane. I have been working at Oakwood since 2004 and this is my 5th year here.
Speaking of the front desk job, you may think our job would be a glamorous one and mostly do the check-in and check-out though, we have to have lots of energy to work in a wide range of the field as a front staff at Oakwood, since we do the check-in and check-out, concierge service, and delivery service, replace the light bulbs and bed making etc which sometimes make us having another busy day. However, in the middle of busy day, what always put us back the smile and energy is the children who stay with us. There are always many families staying at Oakwood Residence Aoyama with children and some children come to the front desk to see us at least once a day and some of them even cry for not coming back when they check-out. They are from the infants to the teenagers and they are very sweet and adorable.
For the families who stay with us, the play area in our property has been renewed recently! There used to be only a sand box though, a slide, a picnic table and a new sand box have been installed. The new play ground has been making the families with children easier access to have their children play without going outside to the park and it’s getting more popular.
If you are looking for the child-friendly accommodation in Tokyo, Oakwood Residence Aoyama is the one! Please come and stay with us! We look forward to seeing you soon.

Azabujyuban Festival & Staff Party
毎年8月に開催される夏の人気イベント「麻布十番祭り」。 この祭りが行われる週の金曜日の夜、私たちは仕事終了と同時にオークウッドレジデンス麻布十番のBBQテラスに集合します。 麻布十番祭りの屋台でお祭り料理と飲み物を購入して、勝手に（？）スタッフパーティーの始まりです。
また、この日はオークウッドレジデンス麻布十番のスタッフは浴衣を着てお客様を出迎えています。
来年、麻布十番祭りに参加される方は、オークウッドのBBQテラスを覗いてみてください。 きっと私達の笑い声が聞こえてくるでしょう。

The huge annual Azabujyuban Festival which is a popular summer event in Tokyo is held every August. We always have a staff party after work on Friday, the day of Azabujyuban festival at the outdoor BBQ terrace of Oakwood Residence Azabujyuban. We bought a lot of Matsuri food at some of the food stands and then got together to eat.
Every year, Customer Service Representatives dressed in Yukata at the front desk at that day and the residents are happy to see our CSRs dressing in Yukata.
If you have a plan to join the Azabujyuban Festival next year, please look in the BBQ terrace of Oakwood Residence Azabujyuban. Surely you will hear our laughter.

E-boat race
私達、オークウッドレジデンス六本木ティーキューブと麻布十番のスタッフは、昨年度から10人1チームで江戸川のE-ボートレースに出場しています。昨年は初出場でしかも皆初心者ながら24チーム中、なんと1位になってしまいました。今年も7月19日の猛暑の中、再び優勝を目指して出場しました。どのチームも昨年とは見違えるほどのパワーとチームワークで初戦から接戦となりました。オークウッドチームも負けじと大きな掛け声で必死でパドルを漕ぎました。
接戦をなんとか勝ち抜き緊張の決勝戦。
3チームがスタートラインに並ぶと同時にスタートの合図が響き皆最後の力をふりしぼり一心不乱にパドルを漕ぎ出しました。スタート直後から昨年2位の北海道チームにみるみる抜かされ、前方も他のチームに塞がれてしまいました。折り返し地点では追突までする激戦でした。
トレーニング不足（？）と猛暑にやられ、恥ずかしながらオークウッドチーム最後は掛け声とパドルを漕ぐリズムが合っていませんでした（笑）昨年2位のチームに優勝を奪われはしましたが、今年は2位に入賞しました。そして、チームの絆が更に強くなったことは確かです。
これから来年のレースに向けてトレーニングを始めます。
E-boat race The staff in Oakwood Residence Roppongi T-Cube and Oakwood Residence Azabujyuban have been participating in E-boat race at Edogawa River from last year. Since we became in the 1st place among 24teams last year even though we were all beginner, we all thought we are going to get the title again in this year! But it was not so easy to win the race 2years in a row. As a result, a team from Hokkaido beat us pretty badly in the final tournament. However we all found a sense of teamwork in the race though the result was 2nd place. We are going to start training to get back the title next year!!

オークウッドレジデンス六本木ティーキューブでは、長期滞在されたお客様にオークウッド滞在の記念品として、こけし絵巻「さよならドール」をプレゼントしています。 さよならドールはこけしの姿をしていますが、体の部分が絵巻になっていて、紐をとくと私達スタッフからの感謝のメッセージ共に、お客様の写真、私達の写真、東京や日本の風景が貼り付けられています。 本国に帰られるお客様にも、これからも日本に引き続き滞在されるお客様にも「日本滞在とオークウッド滞在のよい思い出になります。」と大好評です。 This time, I would like to introduce “Sayonara doll” which is a gift for long term guests upon their check-out at Oakwood Residence Roppongi T-Cube. The doll’s part of the body is a message paper, as you can see the attached photo, once you opened the paper, we will find messages from our staffs and photos! The doll is always much appreciated by both guests who are going to leave Japan and stay in japan as Oakwood memory.
